In the aftermath of an exhibition called “Drucken Heften Laden” at nGbK (Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst) a group of publishers in Berlin gathered. Our name is DHL (for now). On a loose basis we are inviting guests to have an informal roundtable discussion. This time within the framework of MISS READ. The last DHL Salon took place on Sunday, June 28th. Its main topics revolved around the structural organisation of collective publishing groups and their critical practices. DHL considers the work of our guests particularly relevant (not only) for questions concerning independent publishing and is looking forward to fruitful debates with them and the audience. Extracts of the conenten will be collected via the DHL Archive.
With: Delphine Bedel (Meta/Books), Christian Berkes (botopress), Andreas Koch (von hundert), Heimo Lattner (Berliner Hefte), Janine Sack (Visual Communication), Joachim Schmid, Michaela Wünsch (b_books) and other guests.
